General Terms
Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat, hosted by Lynn Bardowski, reserves the right to alter any facility accommodation or scheduled activity.
You will have the opportunity to submit a roommate assignment request once your paid reservation has been received. Requests will be accommodated to the best of our ability.
In the event of a registrant or attendee having any complaint, they will not discuss it with any third party, but shall notify a Retreat representative as soon as possible.
We recommend that all registrants acquire adequate travel, cancellation and medical insurance for the duration of the trip.
No pets are permitted at the Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat.
Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat is an adults-only event. Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the event.
The Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat has a strict no-recruiting policy. As an attendee, you agree that you will not share, distribute or promote recruiting materials or related items.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
All fees are due at the time of your reservation or as outlined in your payment agreement. On the two-payment plan, a payment that is more than 3 days delinquent may result in immediate cancellation of your reservation. Registration is not refundable but can be transferred. Obtaining payment is the full responsibility of the two parties involved in the registration transfer, and Lynn Bardowski must be notified prior to the retreat date. All transfer registrants must complete a contact form and agree to the terms and conditions stated hereof.
Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat reserves the right to offer discounts at its discretion. Any such discounts do not affect the status of registrants who have paid full price and no discount will be extended or due to them.
Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat reserves the right to change bookings, with registrants being informed as soon as possible. We will do our best to offer alternative arrangements but we do not accept responsibility for any associated costs that might be incurred, such as air travel changes, airport transfers and rental cars.
Responsibility and Liability
It is the responsibility of the registrant to check their reservation and ensure the accuracy of the details.
Travel costs such as flights, car rentals, or any other transportation to/from the retreat location are the responsibility of the attendees. Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat does not accept any responsibility for missed, delayed, or canceled flights, trains, buses, or other forms of transport.
Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat shall not be liable for any failures beyond its control. This includes closure of airports, road closures, natural disasters, civil strife, war, ‘acts of God’, illness, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors.
Attendees shall not use the Retreat property except for permitted use and shall not use the property for any offensive, noisy, dangerous, illegal, immoral or improper purposes. Attendees shall not do anything which may be a nuisance or annoyance to the Retreat location’s guests, staff or owners.
Attendees shall keep all Retreat property fixtures, fittings, furniture and effects in good, clean condition and shall replace any articles which are destroyed or missing with articles of a similar kind and of equal value.
In the event of any breach of these terms and conditions, Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to terminate use of the property or any of its facilities by the attendee. The attendee will be required to vacate the property and shall not receive a refund. Any consequential liability damages or loss will be the responsibility of the attendee.
Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat is not liable for any injuries to attendees as a result of their use of Retreat sites or participation in activities. Attendees participating in activities will be required to complete and sign a Release from Liability waiver.
Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to attendees’ personal possessions or valuables.
Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat accepts no liability for any injury sustained or illness contracted during the Retreat or traveling to and from the Retreat location.
Fitness Requirements
Attendees must comply with any and all health and safety regulations introduced by Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat. Attendees must ensure their medical and physical fitness and be able to use the facilities and participate in activities. Attendees who have injuries or illnesses are advised to seek a doctor’s advice before participating in any Retreat activities. An attendee must always stop and rest if he/she is feeling any pain or sickness and inform a Retreat representative of any previous injuries.
Copyright and Use of Images
Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat retains all copyright license rights and sole exclusive ownership of the photographs, information, and other content displayed on its related website(s) and social media. The material may not be modified, copied, or used in any other way.
A photographer will be on hand to take photos throughout the event. Build Your Fempire Leadership Retreat reserves the right to use any and all images and video captured in future marketing and/or promotional materials.
